Account Authority
Being recognized as a national Account Authority represents a matter of primary importance for the company and a concrete guarantee of competence, reliability, and stability in the maritime sector. This role allows us to operate as an official and qualified interlocutor for the management, activation, and support of services dedicated to communications and onboard systems.
SIRM Italia is officially authorized as an Accounting Authority (AAIC), with the identifier IU02,
to provide management services for radio stations and mandatory
equipment for merchant ships according to sector regulations.
In particular, the company is authorized by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) to exercise the function of
Account Authority and to offer merchant vessels radio station management services, shore-based maintenance (SBM),
and satellite traffic management for various navigation areas.
This recognition allows us to offer clients a single point of reference, reducing management complexity and ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and operational continuity.
Furthermore, the role of Account Authority strengthens the company's ability to support shipowners and ship managers in the daily management of vessels, ensuring a high level of service, direct communication, and a deep knowledge of the operational dynamics of the national and international maritime sector.
